Hey there! We want you to have a smooth, blissful wedding day because that is what you deserve. So let's make that happen by adding one more important task to your to-do list and that is to “Make a Wedding Emergency Kit”. Many couples forget to think about “the what-ifs” that could happen on their wedding day. And while your to-do list might be stacking up, it’s always better to be safe than sorry… so make sure to add this too.

Building an emergency kit is a task that can easily be taken care of by your wedding party, a parent/grandparent, or your day-of coordinator While this list is not completely comprehensive, and if you have us as your planners, we come fully loaded with supplies - this is the most commonly used items in our wedding day emergency kit.

1.) SCISSORS

Scissors are a girl’s best friend! They are so convenient and are something that you probably already have laying around the house. We like to a regular size pair PLUS little baby ones for cutting tags and loos threads.

A snag on a dress or a rip in a seam can be easily taken care of with a handy dandy little sewing kit. We recommend getting spools of thread that match your wedding colors. This has come in handy a few times when we’ve needed to resew a button or a tear in a bridesmaid dress.

8.) DEODORANT

You will have to reapply deodorant a couple of times throughout the day to keep yourself smelling fresh! There will be a lot of sweating goin’ on, especially if you are having any part of your wedding outdoors. We also find spray deodorant to be the best because it leaves the least amount of residue and you can share with anyone!
